UPCOMING EVENT

Colorain
Opening reception: July 17th 2010, 6-10pm
Exhibit Closes: August 1st
The art of Alberto Cerriteno drizzles the wall of OhNo!Doom gallery in July. Rain is frequently associated with a gray, sad, hopeless and lazy mood but when it stops, we realize that without it, we would not be able to enjoy all the color around us on a sunny day. Rain has a color, the color of life and joy. This exhibit focuses on those colored water droplets that have been spread all over Alberto's work..
Directly after the opening reception all unsold artworks will be available to view and purchase thru our online store: http://www.enstore.com/ohnodoom/

Gods & Monsters
View & Purchase Artwork at theOhNo!Doom Art Store!
Hear ye, Hear ye!
Ancient monsters, lowly mortals, and a few intrepid immortals to be contained within the gallery’s walls. We welcome new work from monster tamers Matt Cipov, Jordan Metcalf and Keith Noordzy. Step in and be delighted by the magic of fine lines, delicate brush work and all things awesome!
Matt Cipov - (Wisconsin) -
Outgoing boy with hermit intentions and laffy regretions. I make things and do things and say things and play things... and if I do not, I will die. But if I die, I will be a fun (funny) ghost. I enjoy long walks on the Sagittarius and I am a beach. I have a love filled heart. I have all sorts of things I'd like to sell, because I think it would be fun.
Keith Noordzy - (California)-
Keith Noordzy grew up in Florida hunting giant squids and dinosaurs. Over the years these ancient creatures started disappearing, leaving only visions and memories of those once great adventures. He now lives in Los Angeles retelling his stories by creating artwork of epic creatures, cute characters, and their mysterious descent into the darkness.
Keith’s artwork has been compared to that of Maurice Sendak, Tim Burton, and Edward Gorey. His characters may look cute and innocent, but they usually have somewhat of a dark side to them.
Jordan Metcalf - (South Africa)-
Jordan Metcalf is a graphic designer, typographer and artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. His work explores the contrasts between complexity and simplicity, organic and inorganic line work, and black and white.
