Joe Call X Max Bare: For the Future of Hip-Hop

Revolutionary Music founders Bryan Ford and Jeremiah Seraphine reached out to OhNo!Doomers Joe Call and Max Bare to make an album cover for Bryan Ford's newest release. The album "For the Future of Hip-Hop" features Wu-Tang Clan alum Killah Priest along with Chicago's own Pugs Atomz and Awdazcate

Themes of dopeness, science and other radness drove Joe and Max. Bryan Ford pointed them toward some funky motherships straight out of some retro Parliament records. From there they dropped into a wormhole of Neil deGrasse Tyson and 70s Sci Fi to create a world of dark matter and space dust with Bryan's new tracks as the soundtrack. In OhNo!Doom, past collaborations tend to result in a mad mash of characters. This was no different here.

Joe Call designed the "For the Future of Hip Hop" lockup which is pretty 90s era MTV. You can almost feel it hovering around. It became the spotlight for the cover image of the single release. Available on iTunes here

Joe and Max split the character duties in half, each picking two spaceship dudes to design.
